Boooooo!! | Lethbridge Photographer

It’s that spooky time of year again! As an adult I’m not too keen on Halloween anymore, I mean yeah the candy is great but it’s not in my top 5 holidays/events of the year. But for my son, who is 4, he is over the moon excited! He made me put up a countdown calendar and he asks me every day how many more days until Halloween. He is dressing up as Bumblebee (surprise surprise) since he has such a huge love for Transformers. I don’t think there would have been any way to convince him to dress up as anything else! Thank goodness we found a costume that didn’t cost a small fortune! Photos of that to come later :)

So tonight was pumpkin carving night. We actually grew this pumpkin ourselves which we are quite proud of! Here are the resulting photos:

Yes my husband is using a power saw to cut the pumpkin…oh men and their power tools…

Slowing down and the whirlwind family! | Lethbridge Family Photographer

It’s getting to be that time of year again. The time where everything slows down and sessions start to dwindle. The weather is changing and getting cooler every day and the leaves have almost all but disappeared. Even though winter photos can be really cool (literally), not many people choose this time of year for them. I think some great images could be produced with the contrast of the white of the snow and the colorful winter clothing but alas it is the least popular of all seasons to do so.

So here we are, late October and Devon and I trekked out into the cold and blowing wind for our last family session together. I have really enjoyed getting to know Devon and having the opportunity to shoot together over the past 8ish months since we first met. It has proven to be a lot of fun, a lot of learning and we have really become great friends!

This family was like a whirlwind! They blew in and 30 minutes later they blew out! They were a lot of fun! Devon and I divided and conquered by each taking two of the kids and doing a few shots of each since our time was limited. I still can’t believe we did a family of 6 in just 30 minutes!

Another baby bump! | Lethbridge Maternity Photographers

It seems that everyone is having babies lately! I love all the cute baby bumps.
Last Saturday, Devon and I ventured out together for another maternity session, this time we headed down to the riverbottom. All the beautiful Fall colors are starting to disappear but there is still a bit left to capture. I love to do maternity sessions outside. It just gives the images such a natural feel and you can incorporate so many different elements into the session.

This is Amber and Brian. She is due with their first baby in early November. She has such a cute baby belly! It’s just perfect!

Jeri-Lyn : Pregnancy | Lethbridge Maternity Photographers

This is the beautiful Jeri-Lyn. I had the pleasure of meeting her when I went out with my friend and fellow photog (which by now I’m sure you all know) Devon for this cute maternity session. We went to the University breezeway to do them and had a lot of fun! Jeri-Lyn was the perfect model for us! She has the cutest pregnant belly and she was really comfortable and really worked it for us! I love her colorful scarf that she wore, it adds such a nice punch of color.
