Happy Halloween!

I hope everyone has a fun and candy-filled Halloween!

These are our pumpkins that we carved this year. We always have so much fun deciding what each of us is going to carve! We had a blast this year as usual!

My son’s is the Transformers symbol (with the help of my husband), our good friend Sara usually comes over and carves a pumpkin too, her’s is the scarecrow, mine is the owl and lastly, my husband Brett’s is the haunted house. I think we did a pretty good job!

Tanya + Corey + Rebecca | Family

This is Tanya, Corey & Rebecca. They’ve been through some big changes in their life recently and mom, Tanya wanted to capture some photographs of the three of them. Unfortunately, the day before Corey hurt himself really bad during a skateboarding accident so he was in a lot of pain and could barely move during the session. He was a trooper though and never complained and did whatever I asked without a peep. I tried to make it as easy on him as I could. I hope he’s on the mend and feeling better!

Thank you for asking me to capture your family…it was a pleasure to meet you.

Gilmar | Family

This is the Gilmar family. I was contacted by Gagan, who is the girlfriend of one of the twins you see in the photos. They wanted to celebrate their parent’s 40th wedding anniversary so they decided to get them a family session. Forty years is quite the accomplishment!

This family was a lot of fun! They were really laid back and easy to work with. Even when things came to a halt when Gagan realized she’d lost Heath’s (expensive) sunglasses, they were still very casual and no one freaked out. Luckily Brett, my helper/husband found them!
