SLOWING DOWN…

So it’s that time of year again where things slow down for me. I’m almost finished all of my currently booked sessions. It’s been such a great season with amazing clients and I can’t believe it’s come and almost gone already. I’m still booking sessions into fall and also winter if anyone is still interested. It’s really a great time to get some images done for Christmas cards. The weather may be a bit unpredictable but when it cooperates it’s just gorgeous out there.

I’m also currently booking 2012 weddings…I’m planning on capping my weddings at around 10 for 2012 just so I can spend a little extra time with my family next summer. So please inquire soon if you are interested in having me photograph your wedding.

NEW SPACES…THE FINISHED PRODUCT…

So I’ve finally gotten my little office finished! It took a couple of months but I finally have everything hung and looking just about exactly the way I imagined. I LOVE my workspace!

When you first walk into the office this is what you see…the little hang out area. I got those chairs for a steal at Costco. The pillows I got from Nicholai in downtown Lethbridge…a little pricy but worth it! I love the texture that they bring to the room. The gray table and candelabras are from Ikea along with the gray magnetic board to the left.

The gallery wraps that hang above the little hang out area. Sizes from left to right: 20×20, 16×24, 16×24 & 20×20. I love having my work hanging in my office! It’s like a little bit of inspiration:)

And now my work space. I love how long my desk is. I can work to the left and pack up orders on the right. The desk and the hanging panel curtains to cover the closet opening are both from Ikea.

I have my last wedding of the season today! I have a couple of weddings left to blog and then it’s on to regular sessions for the rest of 2011. I’ve had amazing wedding clients this season and look forward to what Fall will bring. I’m still booking regular sessions for the remainder of 2011 as well as 2012 weddings.

SUMMER…WHERE ARE YOU GOING SO FAST??

I’m a bit in disbelief that Summer is ending in just over a month. I feel like it has just flown by! I did a bit of traveling for weddings this Summer, Waterton, High River and Castle Mountain, and I loved every minute of it! So as the days get shorter and the nights longer, I look forward to what Fall will bring…my favorite season:)

By the way…Fall is an amazing time for sessions…the colors are stunning! But the wind blows them away fast so if you are interested in having a session with me this Fall please shoot me an email so we can book your date!
