Category Archives: Maternity This is my sister, Tracey. You’ll probably remember her from the post I did of her back in September at 14 weeks pregnant (you can see it by clicking here). Now she’s at 28 weeks along so we thought we’d go out and get some new snaps of her ever growing belly:)  This is my sister Tracey. She is pregnant with her first child and we are flippin’ excited about it! This will be the 4th kiddo for our family. She is just 14 weeks pregnant but since she’s my sister I plan on documenting her bump throughout her entire pregnancy. So while in BC this past weekend we went out and did a quick session…these are my favorites…  I had the pleasure of helping my friend and fellow photographer, Devon, out on a maternity session in Calgary recently. I don’t do a ton of maternity sessions so it’s nice to shoot one every once and awhile. This family was tons of fun and really so easy to work with. They have a beautiful home, which was a pleasure to shoot in with it’s wonderful natural light. I love this type of maternity session. The natural light in a home can be so dramatic and beautiful. And I love the casual, true lifestyle feel of the images.
 I’ve known Sarah for pretty much as long as I can remember. When we were little we were neighbors and always went to school together. I had the pleasure of photographing their wedding back in 2007, it was the second wedding I ever photographed. I was nervous as hell but thankful that they asked me to be their photographer and it turned out really well. After that they asked me again to photograph them when Sarah was pregnant with Preston and now again with baby #2. I love watching a family grow and to be able to photograph them in these different stages of life. Sarah was right around 32 weeks in these photos…so not too much longer until baby arrives!
