This is my lovely friend, Lana and her adorable son, Rowan. We’ve known each other for many, many, many years. In college we were roommates for a few years and we’ve had many good times together.

One of my favorite things is giving my friends and family images of them and their loved ones. I obviously think having images of your loved ones is so important. I like to be surrounded daily by the images of the people that I love, my walls are covered. So when Lana asked me to photograph her and Rowan it was more than my pleasure.

LEAH + DAVE {EXPECTING}

I shot these photos February 4. Leah’s due date was estimated to be around March 5-11. I got a phone call Tuesday afternoon from Dave announcing the arrival of their baby girl!! I was so surprised! This baby girl wanted to meet her mom & dad early. Her name is Bailey Lorraine and she was born just after 7am on February 14th weighing in at 6lbs 11ozs. I can’t wait to meet her! I guess we are lucky that we got these images done when we did! Welcome to the world baby girl! And congratulations to my dear friends, Leah & Dave. You guys are going to make amazing parents. Thank you so much for asking me to photograph this new journey in your lives.

Here are some of my favorite images for their maternity session. I’m hopefully going to be making my way to BC next week to meet this new baby girl and to get a session in with her.

TRACEY + JUSTIN {EXPECTING}…THE SNEAK PEEK

This is my sister, Tracey. She is 35 weeks pregnant with her first child. We are all pretty dang excited! I’ve done a couple of other sessions during her pregnancy seen here at 28 weeks and here at 14 weeks. This time Justin got in on a few photos. Not too much longer now!
